Hi friends! As we head into the summer months, which always seem to fly by, I wanted to take this opportunity to share all about great events, activities, and places to visit this season. |
My hope is that you can find time to slow down, even if it's only for a few days, and create lasting memories with the people who matter most. If you have kids at home, I remember reading a book a few years ago that shared a simple but powerful message: you only get 17 summers with your children. That really hit home for me. As busy and chaotic as this time of year can be, it's a good reminder to be present and appreciate the moments while they're here. As for our family, Sienna, Jordana, and Tristan are all playing Rep soccer for Puslinch Predators this season, while Aaron is playing house league with Cambridge United. Needless to say, our evenings and weekends are filled with soccer fields, practices, and games! We're also looking forward to a family road trip to Florida, where we'll be soaking up some sunshine, enjoying the beaches, and making a few stops at waterparks along the way. Back at home, Val and I have taken on a big summer project—building a new deck in our backyard. I'm sure there will be plenty of photos, videos, and before-and-after updates to share, so stay tuned! Wishing you and your family a wonderful summer filled with fun, relaxation, and great memories. |
