Here are my Top 10 Tips to selling your home faster in a Buyers market:
Repair anything that is broken in the home.
Give a fresh coat of paint in main area’s of the home.
Create curb appeal- clean up the outside so that the home is inviting and stands out on the street….for good reasons.
Declutter as much as possible.
Make the home spotless and free from offensive odours.
Do some minor updating- Lights, switches and outlets, mirrors, hardware on doors, cabinets, anything old and outdated.
Have the home staged to show off the function of the home and showcase it’s highlights.
Be ready on picture day, so that your home stands out on MLS.
Compose a book with all the warranties, receipts and manuals for items in the home. You can also purchase 12 months warranty on systems and appliances for your home to the new owner (Buyer) through Canadian Home Shield.
Be accommodating for showings. Try to be as flexible as possible with showing requests.
